AKB48 member, and solo artist Tomomi Itano recently announced that she will be releasing her second single on April 27. The announcement was made on Itano's live event for her solo debut single Dear J, which was released last January 26.
It was a surprise not only for her fans, but also for Tomomi Itano herself. Receiving big cheers from the fans, Itano said, “I did not know about this at all… but I’m really happy, and surprised.” She also confessed that the producer, Akimoto Yasushi suggested making her solo debut single a sad ballad song, but Itano asked him to make it a cool number. However, she would leave the final decision to Akimoto.
So far, the title for Tomomi Itano's second single is not yet revealed at this point. Even with that said, pre-orders for the new single are open on CD Japan, which are available in three different editions.
