Kamen Rider Fourze (仮面ライダーフォーゼ Kamen Raidā Fōze?) is an upcoming Japanese tokusatsu drama in Toei Company's Kamen Rider Series, being the thirteenth series in the Heisei period run and the twenty-second overall. It is scheduled to begin began airing on September 4, 2011, the week following the conclusion of Kamen Rider OOO.[1] The series' primary writer is Kazuki Nakashima, known for his screenplays of Oh! Edo Rocket and Gurren Lagann. Trademarks on the title were filed by Toei in April 2011[2][3][4] The series, starring Sota Fukushi as Gentaro Kisaragi who can transform into the titular Kamen Rider Fourze, is set to commemorate mankind's 50th anniversary of spaceflight with Yuri Gagarin's flight in 1961.[5] The show's catchphrase is "Youth switches on into outer space!" (青春スイッチオンで宇宙キター！ Seishun suitchi on de uchū kitā!?),[6] referencing the Fourze Driver (フォーゼドライバー Fōze Doraibā?) transformation belt which gets its various powers from devices called Astro Switches (アストロスイッチ Asutoro Suitchi?) to conjure attachments to Fourze's limbs.[1][7] The series' monsters are designed by Kia Asamiya, known for his art for Martian Successor Nadesico and Silent Möbius. As with the two previous Kamen Riders, Fourze will have a debut appearance in the annual summer film of his direct predecessor, Kamen Rider OOO Wonderful: The Shogun and the 21 Core Medals.

The series will focus on Gentaro Kisaragi, a second-year student at Amanogawa High School (天ノ川学園高校 Amanogawa Gakuen Kōkō?, "Amanogawa" translates as Milky Way) who has a bad-boy image, but he seeks to make friends with those he meets at the school by forming a Kamen Rider Club. He is joined in the club by Kengo Utahoshi, who has a strange switch-like device called an Astro Switch, along with access to a lunar base called the Rabbit Hutch (ラビットハッチ Rabitto Hatchi?) and the super-bike known as the Machine Masshigler (マシンマッシグラー Mashin Masshigurā?), and Yuki Jojima, a self-professed space otaku who also knows of the Astro Switches and the lunar base. They are opposed by third-year student Miu Kazashiro, a cheerleader and the self-appointed queen of Amanogawa High, assisted by Shun Daimonji, third-year student captain of the school's American football team, Tomoko Nozama, a first-year student and Goth girl who always carries around her tablet PC, and JK, another first-year student who often trades secrets for favors. The second-year homeroom teacher and classic literature teacher is Sarina Sonoda, who all of her students trust, and Chuta Ohsugi serves as the school's geoscience teacher. There is also a mysterious red-eyed man who is seen around Amanogawa High with a mysterious item called the Zodiarts Switch (ゾディアーツスイッチ Zodiātsu Suitchi?)

Cast Details

Gentaro Kisaragi: The main character of the series, second year. He recently transferred to Amanogawa Academy. He's a bad boy rocking a short pompadour hairstyle.
He declares that he will become friends with everyone in the school. He meets Kengo Utahoshi, as if it was destined for them to meet. Gentaro recieves the Foruze Driver and starts the Kamen Rider club in school.
He seems to be an idiotic character.

Kengo Utahoshi: The main character's partner, second year. A young man who had the mysterious switches. He's a key person to the whole story.
His locker seems to be distorting space and he's somehow able to reach the moon base, "Rabbit Hatch" through the locker. He's also able to pull out the super bike "Machine Masshigura".
He might be physically weak, but he has strong heart full of will.

Yuuki Joujima: The heroine of the story, second year. She's Gentaro's childhood friend.
She's a bright and cheerful high school student, she refers herself as a "space nerd".
She usually heads over to JAXA after school. JAXA is like some space thing in Japan.
She's the only one that Kengo can actually trust, Kengo shared his secret about his special locker to her.

Miu Kazashiro: Third year. She's somewhat the queen of the school as she is a cheerleader.
She's the daughter of a rich family. Ever since she was born, she was always treated like the bee queen. No matter where she goes in school, her two sidekicks will always follow her.
She's a beuatiful girl with pride.

Jun Daimonji: Third year. The captain of the American Football team.
There's a hierarchy going on in Amanogawa Academy, with sports-oriented guys on the top. They are usually bullies. (Referred as jocks)
Jun is standing on the absolute top.

Tomoko Nozama: First year. She's the goth girl with black make up under her eyes.
She always brings her Tablet PC with her and has a weird laughter.
She seems to fixate and obsess over various things, but the details are unknown.

JK (Jake): First year. Jake is the information provider of the school.
He easily detects danger and is a coward who always runs away.

Sarina Sonoda:
Gentaro's homeroom teacher and the teacher of classical literature.
She's young and beautiful, every student loves her. Although, she has trouble with Gentaro and Kengo.

Chuuta Oosugi: The geography teacher.
He's middle-aged man with bad looks and personality. No one seems to like him. He seems to be trying to get it with Sonoda, but it just won't happen.

The man with red eyes (Previously known as the mysterious man):
A mysterious man who caused some incident and has the "Zodiarts Switches"
He seems to have a connection with the school, but he's a complete mystery.
